Afon Mêl - Welsh Honey

Speculative rebranding of labels for jars of Afon Mêl Welsh honey. The original works can be found at www.afonmel.com/honey.

Through my research it was clear that jars of honey follow a uniform and simple style of packaging, lending for different companies to blend together, only separated by jar shape.

To make Afon Mêl stand out, fresh packaging was key. Though there are a range of honeys, I felt it important for each label to be largely different, similar only in text and form for continuity, and brand familiarity. Each jar features artwork relevant to the type of honey, with all plants featured on the artwork being key to the production of the honey.
